There is no other AviaSim centre in France where the juxtaposition of real aviation and simulated aviation is quite so immediate.

Located inside the Ibis Coeur d’Orly hotel at 19 Promenade d’Orly in Paray-Vieille-Poste, the centre is equipped with two simulators: an Airbus A320 and an F-35 Lightning II fighter jet. It is part of France’s number one flight simulator network — 15 centres, over 80,000 pilots since 2012 — and serves the vast catchment area of the southern Paris suburbs, the Val-de-Marne, and the Essonne, as well as transit passengers at Orly itself.

Airbus A320 Simulator

Orly is one of Air France’s primary domestic hubs, with the A320 family accounting for a significant proportion of its movements daily. At AviaSim Paris Orly, the simulator places you in the cockpit of that same aircraft — a full 1:1 scale replica with authentic Airbus fly-by-wire sidestick controls, ECAM displays, throttle quadrant, and autopilot. The 180° photorealistic HD visual system spans 24,000 airports worldwide. Natural choices include Paris Orly itself, Charles de Gaulle, Nice, Toulouse, Marseille, or international destinations as far afield as New York JFK or Réunion.

Participants sometimes note, mid-session, that real aircraft are visible through the visual system landing at the real airport just outside — a uniquely immersive detail that underlines the proximity of the experience to the real thing. Up to three guests can join you in the rear cockpit seats at no additional cost.

F-35 Lightning II Fighter Jet Simulator

The F-35 simulator at AviaSim Paris Orly delivers the full combat pilot experience — high-G manoeuvres, supersonic flight, aerobatics, air combat, carrier operations, and tactical missions. By foot from the terminal: use the covered footbridge in front of gate 47D — the centre is a few minutes’ walk. By car: covered parking is available at 3 Rue Élise Deroche, 94390 Orly (not included in session price).
