AviaSim Aix-en-Provence is part of France’s number one flight simulator network, with 15 centres across the country and over 80,000 pilots welcomed since 2012. The Aix-en-Provence centre is equipped with a full 1:1 scale Airbus A320 cockpit simulator — the world’s most widely operated short-haul commercial aircraft — and is open to all ages from approximately 10 years with no prior experience required.

Located on Rue du Lieutenant Parayre in the direction of ENSOSP, the centre offers one of the most original and immersive activities available in Provence. Every session is led throughout by a professional flight instructor, and up to three guests can join you in the rear seats of the cockpit at no extra charge.

The Airbus A320 Simulator

The A320 simulator at AviaSim Aix-en-Provence is a 1:1 scale replica of the real Airbus cockpit, with fully operational fly-by-wire sidestick controls, instruments, and systems. The 180° photorealistic visual system displays detailed terrain and airport scenery across more than 24,000 airports worldwide, allowing you to depart from Marseille Provence, Nice Côte d’Azur, Aix-en-Provence, or any airport on earth. The simulator is fixed-base, delivering ultra-realistic visual and sound immersion without motion — a deliberate choice by AviaSim to make the experience accessible and comfortable for all participants.

Your instructor is an experienced professional pilot who accompanies you from the moment of briefing through to landing, explaining every phase of flight in real time. The cockpit seats up to four people in total — the pilot plus three guests in the rear seats at no additional cost.

Session Options

Three packages are available:

Découverte Avion de Ligne — 45 minutes at the controls of the Airbus A320, from takeoff to landing, for €109. The classic AviaSim experience, suitable for complete beginners and aviation enthusiasts alike.

Forfait Duo — 60 minutes shared between two pilots for €169. Fly as a crew, dividing responsibilities as captain and first officer. Ideal for couples, friends, or parent-child sessions.

Forfait Évasion — 80 minutes for €199, covering every phase of flight from start to finish with time for advanced manoeuvres and multiple approaches.

All packages include a digital boarding pass valid for 12 months, with no date, name, or price shown — perfect for gifting. Recipients choose their own slot online at their convenience. A Fear of Flying programme (Stage Peur en Avion) is also available — a 6-hour individual session with a 97% success rate over more than 10 years, bookable by phone or contact form.
