Flight Simulator Antalya — Level-D Full Flight Simulators at IFTC, Free Zone

IFTC delivers an uncompromised, world-class commercial aviation experience to the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Situated inside the Antalya Free Zone in Konyaaltı, this high-tech training complex holds a distinguished global reputation as the world’s very first energy-neutral flight training facility—running entirely on a self-sustainable building module powered by private solar panel grids, eco-efficient heating pumps, and LED arrays. While the campus is primarily dedicated to providing dry and wet-lease simulator blocks to international airlines and ATOs, IFTC explicitly opens its multi-million dollar gates to individual public enthusiasts and virtual simmers upon direct reservation request.

The Solar-Powered Level-D Motion Fleet The defining highlight of the Antalya campus is the presence of two official EASA Level-D Full Flight Simulators (FFS)—a professional Boeing 737-800W and an advanced Airbus A320-200. Unlike standard static street rigs, these cockpits are mounted onto high-intensity Moog 6-Degrees-of-Freedom (6DOF) electronic and pneumatic motion bases. As you manipulate the flight stick or yokes, the massive cabin shifts physically, tilting, dropping, and vibrating to mirror the realistic aerodynamic weight, wing buffet speeds, runway concrete joints, and severe turbulence profiles.

The visual environment wraps around the cockpit frame in a staggering 200-degree high-definition panorama driven by premium Rockwell Collins EP8100 laser projection engines. Inside, every button, system toggle, FMC (Flight Management Computer), and multi-throttle stack is 100% authentic. Under your type-rated captain instructor’s guidance, you command the aircraft. First-timers can practice basic hand-flying and landing patterns right along the coast of Antalya Airport (AYT), while seasoned simulation pros can load severe Mediterranean thunderstorms, low-visibility instrument holds, or execute manual checklists for full engine flameout emergencies.

The facility also boasts a specialized TFC-engineered B737NG Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) with active window display screens to coordinate full multi-crew scenarios.

Plan Your Visit Because IFTC Antalya is located inside a secure industrial free zone complex and coordinates active airline type-rating schedules, walk-ins are strictly prohibited; individual participants must lock in slots in advance by submitting a query to their designated sales manager. The eco-friendly campus offers immaculate, climate-controlled pilot briefing centers, private classrooms, and secure on-site vehicle parking loops. It is easily accessible via a short 1-hour connection from Istanbul straight into Konyaaltı.
