Part of an established Spanish aeronautical training organisation with campuses in central Madrid and at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Fuenlabrada, Aviation Group has been training aviation professionals for years and opens part of its simulator fleet to the public for leisure experiences and professional training sessions alike.

Airbus A320 Full Motion Simulator — For Enthusiasts

The A320AG Full Motion is the centrepiece of Aviation Group’s public experience offering. Using a three-axis full motion system, the simulator physically replicates the sensations of real commercial flight — the push of climb, the bank of a turn, the pitch of descent, and the bump of turbulence. The cockpit features fully operational multifunction displays, a complete MCDU with all real aircraft functions, fly-by-wire sidestick controls, ECAM actions, and a full instructor station with failure simulation and weather/positioning control. Two fully operational pilot seats are available — pilot flying and pilot monitoring — and the session is instructor-led throughout.

Enthusiast sessions cover any route or airport worldwide. Participants can despegar, cruise, and land at their chosen destination, with the option to add failures, adverse weather, and emergency scenarios for a more intense experience.

Boeing 737 AG Simulator — For Professionals and Enthusiasts

The Boeing 737 AG is a 1:1 scale cockpit simulator with behaviour, controls, and instruments identical to the real aircraft. The panoramic photorealistic visual system covers any airport in the world and any meteorological environment. The cockpit can be configured as either a glass cockpit or analogue cockpit, with a complete FMC with all real aircraft functions, full failure and emergency simulation, and two fully operational pilot seats with original flight controls.

The B737 is positioned primarily for professional pilot use — assessment preparation, procedure refreshers, ECAM actions practice, and type rating reinforcement — but is also available for enthusiast sessions supervised by an instructor.

Airbus A320 Neo — Professional Training Packages

The A320 Neo is Aviation Group’s dedicated professional training device, used with active type-rated pilots and SFIs as instructors. Structured training packs are available: Pack 1 Sim (8 hours simulator), Pack 2 Sim (16 hours simulator), Pack 3 Theory & Sim (4 hours theory + 8 hours simulator), and Pack 4 Theory & Sim (8 hours theory + 16 hours simulator). All packs include the support of an active type-rated pilot, full briefing and debriefing facilities, and professional flight profiles with configurable failures, weather, positioning, and company procedures.

F-18 Super Hornet — Europe’s Only Civilian Fighter Jet Simulator

The F-18 AG Super Hornet is described as unique in its class across the entirety of Europe outside military installations — a genuine fourth-generation combat aircraft cockpit, developed by Aviation Group’s engineers in close collaboration with real fighter pilots from the Spanish Air Force. The F-18 simulator features the full Super Hornet cockpit, Head Up Display with all flight modes, fully operational multifunction screens and real systems, cold and dark startup, 200° visual system, HOTAS (Hands On Throttle And Stick), and the capability to simulate the full range of military missions including air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, in-flight refuelling, carrier takeoffs and landings, and SAM system attacks.

Session options for the F-18 include No le Busques Tres Pies — a classic fighter pilot experience with flight suit and full briefing — and Experiencia en Combate, which places you in a simulated combat mission scenario.

Piloto Total — Fly Both Commercial and Combat

The flagship Piloto Total package combines time in the A320 Full Motion and the F-18 back to back, giving participants the complete contrast between commercial airline procedures and combat aviation in a single session.
