About This Simulator
Flight Simulator Milan — Boeing 737-800 at Simulation Project, Cinisello Balsamo
Simulation Project is Milan’s most technically detailed Boeing 737-800 flight simulator experience, located at Via Filippo Corridoni 12 in Cinisello Balsamo — in Milan’s northern zone, easily reachable by metro on the Red Line to Sesto FS station and then a short bus ride on the z225 or z227 stopping 50 metres from the entrance. Free parking is available in the adjacent street. The centre is open seven days a week from 11am to 11pm — one of the most generous opening schedules of any simulator venue in Italy — making it accessible on weekday evenings, weekends, and public holidays alike.
What distinguishes Simulation Project from standard flight simulators is the maximum correspondence in terms of functionality and physical response of all components. Particular attention has been paid to all mechanical parts — starting from the control columns, which have progressive movement like the real ones, making them particularly suitable for handling manoeuvres for pilots preparing for airline assessments.
The simulator offers a latest-generation projection system with 220° of visual that allows unique immersion and the sensation of actually being in flight. All on-board systems are fully functional, and all emergencies can be managed from the instructor console. Flight plan preparation software is available on board, along with checklists and QRH to follow all procedures from pre-start through to engine shutdown at the destination gate.
The Boeing 737-800NG Simulator
The simulator is a full 1:1 scale cockpit that is usually used by pilots for professional training. The 220° projection system wraps the cockpit windows in high-definition scenery, and the progressive yoke feedback delivers a genuine sense of the aerodynamic forces acting on the aircraft during manoeuvres — a detail that makes Simulation Project particularly popular with pilots preparing for airline assessment simulator tests.
Your instructor — the consistently praised Stefano, named in dozens of reviews — guides every session from the initial briefing through FMC programming, engine start, taxi, takeoff, cruise, and landing. One reviewer described Stefano as an amazing host — professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does, alongside his fantastic team. The setup is described as truly one of the most realistic B737NG cockpits they had ever seen. From the detailed pre-flight briefing to programming the FMC with performance data, every step felt authentic and immersive.
Popular routes include Milan Malpensa to Rome Fiumicino, Orio al Serio to Venice Marco Polo, and challenging technical approaches at Innsbruck, Funchal, or Kai Tak. Any airport in the world can be selected, with configurable weather, time of day, and emergency scenarios available throughout.
