What makes FlightSim NZ genuinely distinctive is its lineup of New Zealand-specific city-to-city flight experiences — real-world routes between New Zealand’s most iconic airports, flown using real airline procedures, live weather data, and real flight deck setup from cold and dark. Auckland to Wellington — NZD $299

Take the captain’s seat of a Boeing 737 for the full Auckland to Wellington experience. Start in a cold and dark state — switches off, engines silent — or in a turnaround state, taking over from the previous crew. Set up the aircraft using real-world procedures and flight data, push back from the gate, taxi to the runway, and take off under manual control. Climb to 28,000 feet, engage the autopilot, and prepare for your descent into Wellington International Airport. Wellington is legendary for its short runway and unpredictable crosswinds — a genuine test of skill. The session runs 1.5 to 2 hours depending on live weather and participant familiarity. Wellington to Auckland is also available.

Christchurch to Queenstown — NZD $299

One of the world’s most spectacular and challenging approaches — the RNAV into Queenstown, weaving through the Southern Alps with no ILS to guide you. After a full cold and dark setup at Christchurch, push back, take off under manual control, climb to 28,000 feet, and begin planning your descent through the mountains. Precision, timing, and judgement are everything as you navigate the tight turns through the valleys before switching to visual flight for the final approach onto Queenstown’s narrow runway. Approximately 1.5 hours.

Auckland to Christchurch — NZD $399

New Zealand’s most popular domestic route, flown end to end in a Boeing 737. After a full cold and dark setup at Auckland, push back, take off, and climb to 32,000 feet before engaging the autopilot for the crossing of Cook Strait and the Canterbury Plains. At 11,000 feet, disengage the autopilot and take full manual control for an ILS approach into Christchurch Airport. Taxi to the gate and shut the aircraft down — just like the professionals. Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
