Sessions are open to all ages with no prior experience required, and real commercial pilot instructors lead every flight.

The Boeing 737 simulator at FlightX is the same standard used by actual commercial pilots for real-world training — not a simplified entertainment product. With Qantas, Virgin Australia, and Jetstar all operating 737 family aircraft on routes from Perth Airport daily, this is the chance to take the left seat of the very aircraft that connects Perth to the rest of Australia.

Boeing 737 Experiences

Four Boeing 737 session formats are available, catering to every level of ambition:

Economy (30 minutes) — the ideal introduction to jet flight, covering takeoff, a scenic cruise, and landing at the airport of your choice. Perfect for first-timers and gift recipients.

Plus (45 minutes) — extends the Economy experience with additional time for a second approach and landing, giving participants the chance to refine their technique with instructor feedback.

Premium (60 minutes) — the most popular package, providing enough time to fly a realistic short-haul route, explore different weather conditions, and attempt multiple approaches at different airports worldwide.

First Class (90 minutes) — the complete airline captain experience, covering the full gate-to-gate flight on a route of your choice with time for advanced procedures, systems exploration, and multiple approaches and landings. The premier choice for aviation enthusiasts and home sim pilots.

All Boeing 737 sessions include verbal instruction from a real commercial pilot, the ability to choose your own departure and destination airports from thousands of options worldwide, and seating for additional guests in the cockpit at no extra charge. Sessions are tailored entirely to your level whether you have never flown before or have thousands of hours in a real aircraft.

Junior Jets

FlightX offers a specially designed Junior Jets programme for younger aviators, supported by their pilots and instructors for an engaging and age-appropriate introduction to flight simulation. Ideal for children and teenagers with an interest in aviation, the programme builds confidence and introduces real aircraft systems in a fun and accessible format.

F/A-18 VR Combat Experience

The newest addition to the FlightX lineup is a military-inspired F/A-18 VR experience in ejection seats — a fully immersive virtual reality combat simulator that puts participants in the cockpit of an F/A-18 Super Hornet for missions across locations including the Grand Canyon. Step into the world of military aviation with a range of scenarios including dogfighting, tactical missions, and formation flying.
